Recording Journal 5

Last night we recorded electric guitars on:
"Visions Of Drowning" tele throughout, 335 for solo
"Its Fine" tele throughout, 335 throughout
"Hey Now Dana" tele throughout, 335 for solo
detailed info to come. heading back to the studio now to start vocals!

Bio

Paul Starling writes & records original songs. He plays: guitar, bass, drums, piano, banjo, ukulele, & various other instruments. Known for a 60's vibe with a modern twist, Paul Starling creates what he calls 'nautical pop'. Music to sail to. Float to. Skip rocks over the Pacific to.
His first release was 100% do-it-yourself. Titled "Ghost Waltz", it was received with open arms into the power pop community. Paul then got together a band (Justin Smith, Dave Lotfi, Steve Bringelson, Kenny Bringelson, Andy Macaphee) to play various LA & Ventura county venues. Some of those included: The Mint, The Joint, The Canyon Club, The Ventura Harbor, The Experimental Cafe, Genghis Cohen's, Rocks, etc etc.
Next he signed on with Rockshot Records & put out 2008's "Doors & Windows". He is currently playing various venues around the Los Angeles area while writing & recording new songs along the way.
